| I keep a stick on the counter year round. In the winter I run it for 30 seconds at 30% in the microwave to make it spreadable. In the summer it can get pretty soft. But I'm too tight to keep my house "warm" in the winter and "cool" in the summer. Never been a problem, but we burn through that stick in 2-4 days spreading bread and splashing a little in the cooking food when needed. I grab larger quantities out of the fridge/freezer when baking.
