Ted, I fully understand that a flowmeter could be used.  But the wiring in my situation would be a nightmare.  It would take over 60' of cable to get from the flowmeter to the ARM.  I have used other equipment to log this operation in the past and it has been no problem to tell it that you are applying fertilizer at 10.5 gal/ac.  This should be very simple to do and SHOULD be a part of any site verification to include the target rate.  Then estimates of product usage can be made from the verification records.

The system does not know that you are planting seed at 28,000/ac. either, but they allow you to tell it that in the report options and then use that rate (so I am told) to report total seed usage on the application report.  All I am asking is that they do the same for fertilizer.
