If it doesn't look like a big job to fix then try it yourself. I had to repair a circuit board on a car, went to radio shack and picked up a solder iron that had a bulb on it, heat up then sucked out the solder and then wired up and soldered in new parts. Not as hard to do as you would think. Do a search lots of instructions to help you out.
