North End I-15 | Interesting Post
Here we are on one of BN's spur lines in to Canada . We see lots of tank cars , open hoppers , and heavy equipment going north . Some times the equipment it will sit on the rail siding in Sweet Grass for a few days . Lots of Cat equipment going north .
I-15 in to Canada at same port is an amazing array of trucks hauling every type of imaginable oilfield equipment . Some going north some going south .
Years back they used to deliver IHC equipment to local dealer in town by rail . Was exciting to see the new tractors and combines come in .There was still a depot and a agent who doubled as the telegraph operator . The depot agent would deliver the messages around town . | |
