I had thought the topic could be thought provoking, but I see it is just provoking. My bad. Don't let it bother you. Sure some replies went down in a hurry but each was the captain of his own ship; some are provoked far more easily than they are provoked to thought. So, what would the world be like if each of those millions were given the same amount of riches as those 85 richest? Would we have any less bloodshed, war and strife? I doubt it. What if the richest were to become content with what they have? Does investing money help the masses to some extent? As a side note, I'm sure a handful of posters here will testify that those 85 have simply evolved to have larger hands out of greed, while some will testify that the millions have evolved to have larger hands out of need. : ) |
