Technological advancement should make some products cheaper over time. There's not a clear way to make a hamburger cheaper. You put in X lbs of ground beef, you get out X 1/4 pounders. With corn, now you put out X acres, X seed, and X fertilizer, we're now getting X*Y b/c of advances in technology. Unless you're Taco Bell and putting in X of burger and Y of horse meat, that's not really happening there. | |
