Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA
The trailer spreaders are nice because they haul a lot more per load. The mounted truck spreader is faster.

The semi gets stuck in less than perfect conditions, but gets down the road fast with a big load. The mounted spreader rarely gets stuck and is fast, but hauls the least. I'd hate to see how bad things would be to get the tractor spreader stuck, but on long hauls it is slowest, and its the most expensive rig.

I guess they all have their good and bad points.
