His years with basis is one thing. He should stick to that. He called last summers basis which anyone in the grain buying business should be able to predict. It's their job. The rest is opinion and he isn't in a position to sway mine because of his job. I've made a lot of money doing the opposite of what the buyers here tell you to do. We are on opposite teams. I want to sell high and produce cheap and they want to buy cheap and sell high. It's a battle that will be waged for my lifetime.

Basis can make you money if played right, storage allows that play to be efficient, we have payed for our grain storage with basis moves alone. Those times are as prevalent now as ever.

The aflatoxin in 2012 left a nasty taste in my mouth for the games being played and games they were.
