Southeast Colorado | Your referenced $5.60 would be a nice planting carrot rally but that had better happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks............not wait till summer. Seems as though 50 more cents on corn would surely pull some acres in. Not sure that helps the guys up north if it merely deteriorates their basis, but it would sure help a lot of the "south of I 90 growers" out. I forget what area of the country you come from Blu?? Thanks for the info as always. I'm watching closer than normal now because basis contract prices need set in the next few weeks. I guess that explains why I keep hoping for this above mentioned planting carrot rally! EDIT: Those 5 green combines full of corn on your farm??
