I'm surprised that bend is giving u any trouble. Our old 8041 had 2 spots that looked the same way and it never broke anything. Isn't it a 5/8 shear bolt on the back sprocket ??


There is not a sprocket on the back of the 14s. Everything is in the front.

Dfarmann have you tryed replacing the chain? It should be 80 heavy. Looking at my spreader the fighting comes in pieces. I think each piece makes one round of fighting and is easy to replace with a torch and welder with some time. I would think that is fixable with a torch and crescent with a big cheater pipe.
