Personally I wouldn't touch pivot pipe for posts .
We have some at work for the end posts on feed bunks it has 3/4" sucker rod welded in to it . It cracks and breaks out around the welds a couple of times a year , spend the money on some real steel posts and do it once .
What are you guys paying for?
