Roads aren't too good yet, wife came home from work at 11;30 said the state hwy wasn't cleared yet, their melting fast and I bet I-90 and 169 will be cleared. As far as the wind turbines, I don't have to farm around any of them, we weren't lucky enough to get any, they pay $5000 per tower per yr for 20 years, they tried to put the roads on fence and property lines, so you can park trucks and grain trailers on the service roads, that's a plus we do farm around a couple large electric lines the ones with double poles so I guess it wouldn't be too much difference. The city of Jackson has a small airport, someday they want to expand it. and they say we are in the crash zone if that ever happens. We are 15 miles from Jackson !!! if a 747 crashed going 500 mph it wouldn't travel 15 miles! that's why we didn't get any turbines, at the home place 3 miles east of me.
