western colorado | Poor cows! I enjoy turning all classes of cattle around. It amazes me what poor management can do! There needs to be some classes offered on simple management techniques known to work. For some people dollar and cents style management does not work. I know several around here that care much more about their dually pickup and big belt buckle than the cattle that are in their care. Just last week I bought a really thin cow for $59/cwt. First couple days she was here she thought for sure she was stuck in the dirt AGIAN with no feed! She soon realized what the feed truck was and I can see the sparkle in her eye every time I ride by in the truck. Kinda gives you a warm feeling. | |
