Subject: RE: Deflation in equipment costs

west central MN

Kibble equipment in MN just sold a 8310R with under 1000 hours with ILS and IVT for $180,000. Most of the dealers have them advertised for $230,000 to $240,000. They also sold a 8235r for $137,000 so I think those prices are down significantly from 1 year ago. There are some more coming up for auction on line so it will be interesting to see what they bring.

2 years ago if you wanted to buy a used low hour tractor you couldn't get one until the guy trading it in got his new one. They didn't have any sitting on the lots around here and most of the tractors traded for new ones were sold before the dealer got them on his lot. Now there are a lot of low hour tractors sitting at all the dealers.
