Subject: Japanese Beetles Threshold ??

They've been working on my beans for a month. Wouldn't say I see a huge amount but they are doing damage . Cant find much info on threshold in beans in free fire starter papers the seed co. send. Spray planes have been going here nonstop for 3 weeks. Think they're spraying corn mostly. With $5.50 beans , how do you justify another $15 to spray? If the rust shows up your looking at $30/acre min. Are these Japs eternal or what ? Shouldn't they turn into something else soon? Will say this for them, they are good weed walkers . Seems the weeds are liked better than the beans.
