I am having a real hard time wondering if some of the elevators aren't taking advantage of the situation. One local elevator went to -1.05 basis today. (On HRS) And 40 miles away one of his competitors is -.65. .40 difference? In some cases served by the same rail line? I would think pretty soon truck freight from here to the cities would be cheaper than that.
