Sorry if you took it as anti organic.  Though a thoughtful person would recognize the term organic is a misnomer.  I raised corn and soybeans using commercial pesticides and fertilizer and they were organic too.  They weren't plastic, metallic or stone.

It's obvious to me that most of the marketing of "organic" food is simply scare tactics so as to justify the higher price.  

It's wonderful that people can make a living on a small plot of land working day and night just as people did 100 years ago to grow a crop.   It's nice too though that others can grow such great crops to feed the world and preserve the land by not over tilling it and having it wash away.
