0.7 miles per year for a decade, is 7 miles TOTAL. I don't know if y'all need a memo, but chickadees tend to flap their wings and fly. They could fly the 7 miles in 15 or 20 minutes if they chose, then fly back later that same afternoon.

Sometimes I am simply shocked at what people "study" these days, in the name of climate change. lol
