We've tried LED bulbs in the barns and they are worthless when it got cold. Went back to good old incandescent because of it. In fact, went back to incandescent everywhere. Not impressed with LED's at all.
Are you sure they were LED ? I have never seen LED affected by cold. Now CFL are a whole nother story.
