changed all the sprockets and chains on our 1083 last summer. just used a 3 jaw puller to take off the drive sprockets. airgun worked much better than a wrench to spin the puller. not sure if the hammering action of the airgun is what did it but they pulled right off. also made a longer deepwell socket to untighten and tighten the gathering chain tensioner bolts. bought a cheapo deepwell, cut it in two and welded a piece of pipe inbetween to make it longer. sorry i cant offer more help than that
