I am not sure. My cows will not really eat much. It lost its color long time ago.
I see some pastures where they put a lot of cows in and they are eating the brown fescue to the ground. Guess our cows are spoiled.
I have read that there is a significant nutrient loss in stockpiled fescue at this time of year.
