I might be missing something but if you have T posts why wouldn't you use the insulators that snap on and are made for T posts if you are talking about a corner post I typically use wood and a staple controls the brace wire supporting the insulator. Are you sure you have T posts or are they the 90 degree posts with holes through the middle?
