We tried that for close up and calving, were never happy, now it sets empty. Good ventilation should be first consideration if animals are going to stay in there. We had 7' ceiling and stone walls so never could make it a healthy place, even when we milked in it. Options like big fans, tunnel ventilation and positive tube weren't around yet then.
