North west MN

w1891 - 3/2/2014 19:47 Is this type of weather normal for your area? The reason I ask is if you believe that these last 10 or so years of somewhat warmer springs have been the major contributor to your areas increased corn and soy production. Or do you think that with the new hybrids that a more "normal" cool spring will not have an effect?

Cool Springs are tough on the corn crop around here just ask the guys that still have their corn out in the field from last year yet. Everyone is trying push maturity dates to get the yield and it can make the fall harvest miserable with wet light corn
