Kingston, Iowa | My Mom's Gateway is getting a little buggy so I wanted to reload XP Media Center. I have the original Restore CD. When I drop it in and reboot, it gets part way thru and then says something to the effect of Drive dismounted. The HD is SATA. It is configured in the BIOS as RAID. I've done this on my own machine several times with XP Home using a SATA Drive with no issues. I don't know however how mine is setup in the Bios and at this time I can't fire it up to look.
Any Ideas or work arounds?
