| What reason did they give for "having" to induce?
Sorry to be so nosy. Our medical system really has me miffed. We don't induce all our cows do we? Why are people different? Different because doctors like to work around their schedule. Induce in the morning, run up the pitocin (oxytocin) drip before lunch, have cervix good and swollen due to the extreme contractions of the pit drip by 5:00 or so, we're gonna have to cut this baby out cuz you're not progressing, all sewn up by 7:00 so I can catch a movie or go dinner at 8:00 and make more cash for the surgery.
Again my apologies, hope baby comes easily for you and babies are a joy no matter how they get here. I just hate it that such a high % of mothers have to go thru this. I know, they say that baby is getting too big, 8+ pounds, I know 8 is big for baby, 40 years ago, now women have frames big enough for 9-10 pounders, IMO.
Congratulations, babies really are spectacular.
