Subject: How much milk should a 'normal' cow make overnight?

perryton, tx
I have this cow I've posted about a couple of times-her teats were really swollen after she calved and I don't think the calf (born feb12) got much, if any milk in the first week. I think the cow started to dry up and I've been working trying to get her making more milk but not seeing any results that I know of. When I put her in the chute I can never get more than a handful of squirts from any teat. The only thing I don't know is how much the calf might be getting as I see him nursing her, yet he always seems hungry (I've been giving him a bottle too). I decided to separate them overnight and see if she makes some milk that the calf won't get-just wondering what kind of production I should expect if she's making enough to support this calf? Thanks.
