get a beacon. a probe and a shovel. rather have it and not need it then need them and not have. for the rest of the groups sake.
Cooke is not a place to mess around. esp this year with this snow.
if you haven't been there before. ask someone local where NOT to go.
just came back from there.

more snow coming.
the snow load there is crazy. like a bomb waiting to go off tho. we didn't go on a lot of stuff we normally ride in just because of the danger. and if some of those places were to go they are gonna be HUGE.
we still had a great time and got stuck plenty.
