This limitation results in a restricted number of mounting positions( On the floor, cables forward or back and on the back wall, cables down. Having a full set of 3 gyros (pitch,roll and yaw) in the NAVII controller allows any mounting position for the controller and the NAVII firmware uses the yaw and roll gyros based on the mounting orientation of the NAVII. In any event, pitch is not part of the AP control loop, even though the gyros are present. | |
