I am a long term diabetic and have been going to Dr.Wilford for 22 years and he is one of those salty old doctors but only by 4 years older then me. Had my appointment today, do you have your blood meter along,answer no,have you been checking yourself,no but you are going to tell me if I need too when you tell me my A1C. 22 years ago he made it very plain to me that I could learn to live with it or it would kill me off quick. You would have to be in his office to hear us go back and forth at each other but it usually makes the nurses day!
