Central Texas
Sort of but not exactly. It's the moldy crust scraped off the outer edge of the silage pile but has a pretty fair amount of good stuff mixed in. This outfit ships 15-20 loads of silage a day to several dairies and they don't want the yucky stuff so I buy it. My cows love most of it but there is a little they refuse to eat that we scoop into the spreader. They do a pretty good job of rooting around and picking out what they like but leave the really baaad stuff. It's amazing what they will eat. Mace may have a few pics of the cows mobbing the trailer and possibly a few others. Maybe he will post some.
