Heifers were synced and then put in pens of 19 with a bull. Left them like that for ten days and then hauled everything to one pasture and only turned out three bulls.
All bulls came from Power Plus Genetics. Fairly certain they will all trace back to OCC genetics but would have to dig up papers to be sure. All epd's are middle of the road. Even birth weight is moderate.
No idea on the heifer genetics. They were all bought as stockers out of the jack pot pen at sale barns and I kept the top end to breed. | |
