I'll go ahead and make a prediction. The market research they do on it over the next year will prove it to be a flop. They'll bring "got milk?" back in a year or two.
Just like the beef checkoff dropped "it's what's for dinner" several years ago, to try "it's what you want". FLOP, and they brought "what's for dinner" back.
I agree~! Milk life just doesn't sound as catchy and would seem to cover more than just the Dairy Industry. IE: soy milk, ect...
To me "Milk Life" also sounds more like "take whatever you can out of life no matter what you have to do".. If I'm not mistaken I thought I read where this was done just because consumption dropped 1% over the last year? I have to wonder what the slogan would be if consumption had dropped 10%... I liked the "Got Milk" slogan...(as you can tell) :) |
