All I know is that it got easier to buy corn as we got closer to harvest and we were not getting new corn either.

IMO, guys were giving up on the "running out" idea.

Prior to that report that changed the market direction in July (? not sure exactly when that was) I was practically begging to buy corn for a dime over the local elevators in price and picking it up with our truck.    Everyone had $10 corn in their head.
