We have about 70% of our old crop corn left to sell. We sold our soybeans to early and the market rallied, and I don't want to make the same mistake with corn. When would be a good time to sell some corn, and when are the highs going to come? What are some things that could happen that will cause a drop in the corn market? I want to be prepared as best as I can, and looking for some input. Thanks


One thing that could cause a drop in the market is when all of us holding 70% of our corn old crop have to sell to make room for new crop.


Very true but that might hurt basis more then board

One consistent thing I hear from ethanol plants is railroad situation and its implications. Might cause ethanol grind to slip a little due to tanker car movement or lack of
