With all the talk of the nice little soy rally, time to share the basis numbers. Local basis for corn -0.85, soys -1.25.
Most of the rally has been taken by basis getting worse in this area. Thanks to the gift of coal and oil, trains are busy. Basis is a bunch worse than it was at harvest.
