New Mexico | just look down the inside ( and outside too ) of their back legs from the rear.
when that inside round muscle is shrunk to the bone...That is tissue loss.
seems like you'd save feed and time by buying cows with less to No tissue shrink.
There's a diff between thin and to skinny ( tissue shrink ).
granted the cows without or less tissue loss gonna cost a touch more ( they're gonna weigh 100+ lbs more )
AND if your getting the tissue loss cows bought for darn near free..AND have plenty of green grass / recovery area ... well it probably all works out anyway.
just think fishing a touch higher will cost more on the buy side...but save a Pile on the gain side ( less dl, more feed goes right to gain asap ).
tissue loss is buying Less than your paying for. mo | |
