Subject: Feeding on cornstalks question

Ne CO
The cornfields that i calve on got hailed this year and i figure ive got about half the feed as usual. I ussually do not feed during calving, just letting them graze corn residue. I realize that ill be feeding to make up for the lack of cornstalks. Figure ill be feeding around 90ton. Would i be better off feeding three bales a day the entire time on feild, or waiting and feeding twice as much towards the end of field? Any opinions are greatly considered and appreciated.
