I don't understand choosing a skid steer over a tractor. I avoid using my skid steer anymore than I have to. The only reason it's around is because there are some tight place a tractor just can't get to (low sheds mostly). A tractor has far more flexibility in what you can use it for and more traction. It's your decision but a large skid steer won't come cheap.
