Why would someone want to buy heifers to bred after a sentence like that? There's too many good genetics out there, send them to a feed lot. Still going to bring over $1100 just sending them to feed.
They are just calves from some cows he has been putzing with for 30+ years, and I cant tell a good cow from a bad one. He has never had more than 20 cows. Its just a little hobby, not a career, and he has never gotten into big genetics and bulls and all the other BS that some of you are in.
I just got off the phone with him and he said they are black semintal. Mostly pasture, meadow hay, and some corn. |
