That is what we were taught 3-4 years ago. Compressions only. Make sure air passageways are open. Pump HARD and FAST. And don't stop until you physically can't go on or somebody relieves you.
They said it was more important to keep the pumping going. And the compressions actually cause some minimal respiration also.
Had to do CPR today
