Irrigation does a wonderful thing to give consistent yields in both beans and corn year after year after year.  Thank you Lord.

I don't use propane.  I do have natural gas if I need/want it. The good part about being a small farmer with a large combine is that I can wait for the corn to dry in the field and then pick quickly.  It has worked well all but one time in the past 10 years.  Don't even have any good drying equipment.  No, continues flow dryer or anything.  I have put some in the bin at 17 or 18, but I get the bottom to dry before I am all said and done and would have been better to just take it to the elevator and let them dry it and take the discount.

Hope this helps.
