| You and your family will be fine. It was 22 years ago we were sitting in a hospital getting the same news about our 8 year old son. He is now 30 with a daughter of his own. It is a very treatable disease. There are people that are working on a cure. It will be an adjustment for your whole family. Every holiday is based around sugar. By reducing or eliminating it from your diet, will make all of you healthier. It will be tough because it is not fair to your daughter to watch everybody else eat fun things. It is not fair to the other kids because they will have to make sacrifices also, but the bottom line is your daughter is still here and will be fine ! Good luck, Ron | |
