Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | A few weeks ago I wondered just how good Informa's predictions and estimates were so I went looking for some of their past years. I found it interesting that when you do so almost nothing is available and what is, is only a few months old.
In contrast if you want you can easily find out the USDA's projected acres and yield for various crops going back years. How they do it I don't know but Informa doesn't leave any tracks. Pretty cleaver, they put themselves out there as the great prognosticators but nobody can tell how good they are. |
