Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum
Thaks Jacob - Wonder what happened with your machines. I ran the Zeltex units in 2005 (a year prior to your effort) for a whole WW season - probably about 50-75000 bu were sampled by each machine, then I pulled them off of our combines to put them on a couple other machines and run for another 50K+ bu each. As I was pulling them off, I ran my 24 bin samples through one, and then took those samples into a grain lab. The results are at http://3rivers.net/~chuckm/Projects/ProteinGIS/proteinagree.htm and look pretty darned good - R^2 of 0.88.

I think I paid for ahlf to one of the monitors just by doing a better job of separating proteins in 2005.

I notice in your paper that you stated Zeltex machines were the only ones available at that time - and I agree, even though I'd first seen a bench model in 1996.
