| Everything that is known is instantly priced. Speculators are placing bets on what they think the next known will be. When people make statements that price is determined by fund positions and speculative money flows, I usually laugh. Holders of futures contracts (nonhedgers) are just like gamblers on the Super Bowl they don't affect the outcome in the slightest. The invisible hand of supply and demand takes care of where prices move.
