Jesup, IA | Last year it was dry in my part of NE IA from August 2011, all the way up til March 2013. Then the sky opened up for three months. Prevented Plant on 20% of my acres. Something my 84 yo father had never seen.
Since then, it's been on the dry side. It's like we have been dry since late 2011 with a three month break.
But I wouldn't worry about it. If you are going to have a drought, Jan-Feb is a pretty good time to have it. | |
