Eastern Iowa | Were were getting an automated message 12-15 times a day telling us there was a fax message pending, to press 1 to disregard. Must have been happening to a lot of people locally because the phone company was aware of it and made it so we could no longer get automated calls. Anyone who calls gets a message that my number does not accept automated solicitations and they must press a number for the call to go through. Once they do it, they don't have to do it again.
It has cut the garbage out 98%.
