finney county, ks | k I'm just thinking out loud here but in 2013 we had 7 million prevent plant acres a lot of these experts are saying an increase of two to five million acres of soybeans with a decrease of 3 to 7 million acres of cornif you take those two numbers that leaves your planted acres roughly the same I know some acres in the south will go to rice or cotton but that still leaves seven million acres out there I know some of those will be prevent plant but probably not that many say we have half the prevent plant acres that leaves three and a half million acres unaccounted for because wheat seedings weren't increased so if my math is correct that means we're not going to lose as many acres of corn or we're going to have to add a lot more acres of beans | |
