Gobbler's Knob
Our new Sheriff has taken great issue with this topic at home and has greatly reduced its utility and/or entertainment factor. What no longer takes place in our county out of fear of getting a DUI:

No more afternoon "crop scouting" (i.e. country cruisin for the non-farm oriented) with a buddy and a cooler

K of C has reduced its number of Fri. and Sat. poker nights / BBQ dinners / Chicken dinners, etc.. All they really do is have Friday fish frys during Lent because folks stopped going for fear of a DUI

Most do not stay out much past 8 when going out for dinner on weekends

If you are out and about in the country after midnight the chances are high you will get pulled over via probable cause (inconsistent and uneven county roads often aid in probable cause being enacted)... So does slow driving to ensure quality country driving

No one has rural parties anymore that amount to much like they use to

Getting pretty boring out here. No more,or less DUI's being given either. They are just easy prey and easy money. Times are tough all over I guess.
